And neither of them are straight, so I would suggest the guy was drunk when installing them. Are you even sure they’re connected to the water supply?

Well look at that, I find my buddy Sire simply by chance while blogging outside the IM niche. Hi Sire.
I think Sire is correct, they do the same thing in Detroit. When replacing Hydrants they leave the old ones for a while. I’m assuming it’s a different crew that removes the old one. This makes absolutely no sense because common sense would suggest it be done while the hole is already dug – which is a clue that we’re dealing with government thinking at it’s best.
